Engagement technology for New South Wales Government

In 2013, as part of the Digital Strategy for New South Wales, Engage2 worked with the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet to undertake a review of current engagement practices and identify opportunities for the New South Wales Government to use engagement technology.

Then in 2016, we worked closely with the service design team in the New South Wales Department of Finance, Services and Innovation to design EngageNSW, a whole-of-government approach that involved setting up systems and building capability for more consistent and effective community engagement. We designed IT systems and information management processes so that data could be shared, corporate knowledge retained and relationships leveraged.

The project deliverable, a report ‘Using Technology for Effective Engagement,’ detailed recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness and deliver open government as part of the Digital Strategy for New South Wales.
