NSW – USING TECHNOLOGY FOR EFFECTIVE ENGAGEMENT
engage2 helped design a digital engagement solution for the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in October 2013 when we reviewed the policies, processes and infrastructure for engagement across a number of government agencies.
The NSW DPC had commissioned the review as part of its move towards Open Government and the development of its Digital Strategy for NSW.
The challenge? To design an integrated and interoperable system that met multiple stakeholders’ requirements, including different projects and purposes, and which allowed feedback and lessons to be shared across NSW government.
We met this challenge by applying our wide-ranging experience of different technology solutions for online and face-to-face engagement, as well our own engagement expertise both inside and out of government.
We recommended a centralised tool to track issues and analyse data, which worked together with online engagement platforms and mobile applications, and which also integrated with email, records management and relationship management systems.
